Happy mother’s day mum! I really don’t know how I got to be so lucky to have you as my mum. I clearly don’t deserve you. I don’t even know how to thank you for all you do for me and my siblings. Where do I start from?! Is it the love you show us? the sacrifices you make? how you would deprive yourself of some things just to make sure we have everything? how you guide us on the right path? how you call us to order when we make mistakes? There’s so much to say. I could go on and on and on.

I don’t know where to start. You make sacrifices that make me wonder if I will ever be able to do the same for my child when I have one. You do things for us that no mother out there would do for their children. My ultimate goal in life is to make you proud. Every now and then so often, I get blown away with how kind hearted, loving, and amazing you are. I have never seen anyone as kind as you are. You would give your last penny to someone just to brighten their day. Even though your extreme kindness and niceness have been abused by people who clearly don’t know how to recognize a gem you are still as kind, loving, nice and amazing as ever.
You are so beautiful. You are the complete definition of internal and external beauty. You are beautiful inside out. Your facial and body features are fire and your heart is even better. I love you so much. I love talking to you. I love being around you. I love doing everything with you. You are my role model. I look up to you for everything. I really can’t tell you how glad I am to have you as my mum. Words will never be enough to tell you how much you mean to me. I am the proudest 18 year old in the world because my mum is a SUPER WOMAN.
I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU and the love you have shown me is unfathomable. I get mad at how nice you are sometimes because you remain nice and kind to those who have been unfair to you. Everyone says the world would make use of more kind people but they can’t even appreciate the few present ones we have. You pray for me all the time and your prayers are everything to me. Even when it seems like my world is falling apart, when I remember your prayers, I start to feel like everything is gonna be okay. Your prayers make me feel so confident and sure of the good things the future will bring.
Your advice is one in a million. I don’t know why you didn’t become a counsellor. You give such great advice and you leave me marveled. You are so smart mum like DARN! how do you manage it all?! I know very well that you are a great woman and if things were rosy for you when you were younger you would have been in a much better place now but you know what? you are doing great. You do so well with your job. You deserve multiple awards. All the students in your class love you. I mean why won’t they? Even they know how amazing you are. You are super amazing at everything you do and there’s never a time when you have underperformed. You are an hard working woman. You put all your effort, time and energy to whatever you do and you always do your best.
I wonder how you manage to manage everything with so much ease. You do a lot for me and my siblings and we would never be able to fully appreciate you for what you do for us. l feel so safe and secure whenever I am with you. I can tell you everything and anything. You are my BEST FRIEND, my SUPER HERO, my EVERYTHING. You never make me feel like you are not ready to listen to me. You are always ready to listen to me even when whatever I am saying makes absolutely no sense. I am teary eyed writing this haha.
You mean so much to me and I am so happy to have you in my life. I would choose you to be my mum a million and one times. I love you so much. It’s mother’s day today and I want to thank you for being a strong woman, I want to thank you for being an hardworking woman. I want to thank you for all the love and care you have shown me and my siblings. I want to thank you for being the amazing woman that you are. Here’s to celebrating many more Mother’s day to come.

This was such a sweet letter and had a teary eye at the end! Haven’t seen my mom in a year and truly feel like I miss her hugs so much even if I video call her every day! As you said, we don’t appreciate enough what they do for us and always amaze us how much they can do and still be so kind to us! Thank you for sharing x
This is such a lovely and sweet letter- and a great way to show your mother how much you care and love her. Thank you for sharing these thoughts on your Mother’s special day x
This was so sweet! I related to this a lot. My mum is the most wonderful caring human and I always wonder as well if I’ll be able to be as good a mum as she is! I can only hope so. This was so heartfelt and I love that you call her a super woman!
Aww, this is such a sweet letter and a really lovely thing to share! 🙂 I hope your mum had a wonderful Mother’s Day.
Aww this is such a lovely letter and so lovely of you to share! I hope your mum enjoyed her day xx
This is such a beautifully written letter. Mums are just amazing!
This is so beautifully written! Your mom sounds like a wonderful woman. Moms are so special and they deserve the very best. I’m so glad you wrote this; I am sure your mom loved it. I can’t wait to celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom in May. 🙂
What a sweet letter. It shows you adore her. Well a letter to my mum would be lengthy as well with content as priceless and unconditional as it can get. What parents and especially moms do for kids I don’t think we can even return it. But when we have our own first born, things do change and you understand motherhood and then give out the way your mum did for you. I enjoyed reading this. <3

As someone who has never really had a real relationship with my mum, it warms my heart to see whenever someone adores their mum this much. What a sweet post x
This is amazing!! So many children overlook the sacrifices their parents make either because they’re too focused on their desires or they feel entitled. Also not enough look at their parents as role models and advisors because they think rich people (those popular online) are more worthy. So, this is just phenomenal!
This was so lovely to read!! Mums are so wonderful and I’m really grateful to have a special one like my mum. A truly lovely post xx
This was such a heartwarming letter, it was so moving! For most of us we will never understand or realise the true sacrifice our parents made when we were born until we have children of our own! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely letter.
This is really sweet, it’s so nice to see such a loving mother’s Day message. It’s so easy to over look the sacrifices that our parents make for us x
Aww, that’s such a warm and touching letter! Mothers are absolutely amazing and wonderful human beings. I don’t know where we’d be without them! Especially in my field where I work with foster parents, the unconditional love, sacrifices, and passion these women have is incredible.
No one could top this as a Mother’s Day gift! What a wonderful letter to receive.
This is beautiful. I hope your mom enjoyed her day! It sounds like she’s a very special, caring human being. The world needs more people like that; they lift us all up, and inspire us to become the best versions of ourselves.
This letter is really touching and beautiful. It would warm the heart of any mother to read this. They never stop making sacrifices and being supportive, even when you are forty something years old and she is 70 something. This love affair is for life. It comes a time when they age, and then it’s our turn to give back .

This is so lovely, my mom definitely popped up in my head when I was reading this. This is a great gift for mother’s day and your mom sounds like a lovely person. Great post!
I love this! And mums 100% give the best advice… as you say, they’d make amazing counsellors!
